When a mine uses dynamite to blow up a rock seam protections and safeguards must be put in place. The mine safety, requires that a red light flashes for 48 hours before the scheduled blast, and once the blast occurs, they need a Green Light to flash for 24 hours.

 

Canada Signal's CSC 500 RGF Solar Powered LED Beacon has been specifically design for the use of providing a visual flashing light in MINE BLAST Activities of RED flashing light 24 hours prior to the “SCHEDULED BLAST”.

Once the blast occurs and is all clear, by using the remote control, the worker can change all of the flashing CSC 500 RGF Red Lights to a CSC 50 RGF Flashing Green to indicate “ALL CLEAR”.
